it scares the begeebus outta me to think that something we did trying to protect our child from bad diseases actually made him/her have something happen to them that i could’ve prevented. what should we do?

I have a son who’s almost 2 months old, and he is scheduled to receive his first vaccines on May 9. I have heard that there’s a possible link between vaccines and autism. Is there any truth to this? Anybody have any experience with this? Thanks!
I’m undecided. I have a 3 1/2 year old, and we vaccinated her according to the pediatrician’s schedule. We never gave it a second thought, but now that we’re expecting again, I want to make sure the decision we make about vaccines is the right one.
