I know that not all ASD are inclined to math. What I’m asking are the strategies that parents or teachers had used that was proven effective in teaching mathematics to ASDs of different levels and degrees. I’m looking for other methods that are not computer based or needs any medication prior to any lecture. I’m living in the Philippines and we could not afford, not even the government to give those medications. I’ll be testing the methods you are to answer against TouchMath. I was just wondering if anyone else out there is considering possibly stopping or delaying vaccinations due to the possibility of a link with autism. I seem to be hearing every day about the rise in autism, and I am concerned about continuing to vaccinate my 10 month old. I wanted to see what other parents think about this subject.

Help with Angina

I have only been a monitor for kids with autism for 3 weeks but I have become very fond of the kids. One of the little girls has shown so much improvement over the last year that they are moving her from her special school to a regular school so she will no longer be using my company’s bus service. I am invited to a farewell/thank you party that her and her parents are having to thank the staff at her school as well as her bus monitors, and also for us all to say goodbye to her. I got her a gift of stuff I know she likes, but I need help. I cant think of words to write in the card. She is so special I just dont know how to put my feelings into words for her. She is 5.
