My daughter is due to have her mmr vaccine in 3 weeks. My husband and I had decided that we were going to have the vaccine separated. When my husband spoke to the dr today to tell her that we were planning on separating the shot, she went on to tell him that there is no proof that the mmr vaccine causes autism and told him that the vaccines are now thimerosol free. She managed to change his mind and now he doesn’t think that we need to separate the vaccine. I don’t know what to do. I fully intend on giving her the vaccine I just don’t know whether or not I should separate it or give her the 3in1. What would or did you do with your child? What are your opinions on this subject? If you do, what proof do you have? I know there is no solid proof proving that MMR does NOT cause Autism, but is there solid proof that it DOES? I know there are kids that have not had vaccines that have developed it as well as kids that have been vaccinated. Just curious.
