Can doctors test for autism? Do they just go by the signs or what? Do anyone have any experience in an autistic child? I really need some information here. Can you please help me out?
My husband is just graduating from dental school on army schlorship. We were asked to give our top 5 base wish list. Our son has autism so, I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on which bases might be the best for us. Thanks.

My six year old son is Autistic. He only parrots what we say sometimes… We moved to Mooresville, NC from Birmingham, AL and he went to school for about 2 months in NC. When he was at the school in AL he did good! Now that we are here he is not doing so well… He has regressed. Does anyone have a child with Autism, and know of a good state with good schools? My son is the most important thing to me and I know that he can learn. He just needs someone that cares about teaching to help him along the way.
my daughter is seven years now, she is suffering from autism. she is speechless, she has short attention span as well poor socialization.
My son has mild autism and with therapy we hope he can live as anyone with a job and a family because he has a normal IQ. I listen in outside the door at my son’s school and I hear him being told,you are not paying attention over and over again. If he forgets to pick up his folder the teacher said did you forget your folder in a strong tone ,not very nice sounding. He tries very hard to please he does not complain but I am the one who does not think this is good. Am I wrong?

There is physical evidence that this child is being bullied repeatedly on the play ground and when the child reports it the teachers and principal tells the child to quit lying. The schools refuses to provide an aide or any special help for the child and even leaves the child alone in the hallway.
