What was your life like?
Mine was horrible! No real friends, been backstabbed, never got invited anywhere, people pretending to be my friends. I’ve been teased and harassed in elementary school. I had a best friend, until she turned into a total bitch! No normal life.

im 22, and i’ve just starting dating this guy he’s 22, he told me he has aspergers autism..what are the signs? do they talk funny? rock left and right, someone that knows please explain clearly for me thanks

Well I have Asperger Syndrome and have researched lots of stuff about it and Autism. I have a theory that they are the same thing but people with Asperger’s are just different because we have developed different socialy. I mean that we chose only to like certain things and so on, probably due to a lack of friends. I’m most likely not true but not sure…

and how does this differ from shyness?

I don’t have an Autistic child, but since the disorder is so common now it’s something I’ve often wondered.

He seems to continously touch himself and stem at the same time. What alternative sensory integration can i provide to help him. It is just not appropriate. it is happening in public places.

What are some signs that they are autistic?

I had many tests done..but I am not sure if i had any for this. Thanks in advance.
