I have concerns over the MMR vaccine. I haven’t done enough research to determine what I will do. Have you vaccinated your children…What are you thoughts?
my 7 week old is going to be getting her 2 month shots pretty soon. and there are so many she has to get! and now with all the news on the autism being caused by vaccinations, im a bit skeptical if she should have all of them. any advice from anyone? i want her to be healthy and not catch any diseases, but im not sure if i should believe this whole autism thing.
thanks for all the responses. they have helped a lot!
My 2 month old is getting ready to have his 2nd round of shots. This time it is more that one shot. My grandma heard that i should space them out. Anyone heard of this??
I have a 9 weeks baby and I was wondering how to know if she has Autism. My husband’s brother has it. I was wondering if it’s genetic and what are the symptoms.
by the way,she doesn’t have a pediatrician because she is not sick (they gove those doctors only to sick babies). She doesn’t have a doctor.
My son is 14 months old and when he gets mad he will hit. We have tried everything from time out to telling him no but he will just laugh and hit again. Anyways someone i work with today has a son who is three and was just diagnosed with autism she told me that he always hits and does not listen and that my son probably has it as well. What are real signs of autism?
I really don’t think he has autism for he talks, makes eye contact and loves to give kisses and hugs.
He’s only a week old, and his pediatrician says everything checks out fine.
But he sometimes exhibits some of the same hand and head movements of children who are deemed mentally retarded or severely autistic.
Now, it may be that he’s just “doing what babies do,” and those movements may look similar because those older children simply don’t move past that “infant-like” stage of development, so I’m hoping I’m just being paranoid.
But I’m wondering if anyone might know of some warning signs.
Thank you.
I know that most children do not start showing symtoms until 3+ years. But my question is, Does anyone have children with autism, who began showing symtoms as early as two months? My 9 week old son still is not focusing in on people, and everyone comments on it. It is starting to worry me. He gets fixated on the ceiling and bright lights. He smiles, but only to voices, never to faces.
i have a six month old baby who seems completly normal. He laughs, rolls, stands by help, sit by support and have normal eye contact. But, i am so scared of autism in babies. i need to have more information. i know it will show itself in later on but i want to know how was some babies with autism during infancy. and also my baby moves his legs and hands alot while he gets excited. and sometimes when i call him he completely ignores. I need to knwo if this is normal or not. Thanks
I have a son who’s almost 2 months old, and he is scheduled to receive his first vaccines on May 9. I have heard that there’s a possible link between vaccines and autism. Is there any truth to this? Anybody have any experience with this? Thanks!
