are there any autism school programs located in lorain county? i have a high functioning 10 year old autistic son that is starting to fall behind socially and academically and needs more one on one or small group setting to keep him focused. does anyone know of any high functioning autism programs in lorain county ohio?

but you might not necessarily want an autism program unless you are looking for an autism method such as ABA
you might what a program geared toward ADHD or LD
Bellefaire JCB at Shaker Heighs, OH has a summer program that you could look into. I believe it’s called Monarch Services for Children and Adolescents with Autism.

Have you talked to your Autism Specialist? My son graduated last year but I still call his former Autism Specialist when I have an issue and need another opinion. (But she is one who goes above and beyond) You could also contact the local parents group. Other parents of kids with Autism usually are in the know as to what is available in any area and which programs are any good.
