Is it just a myth or is it true? I looked on the news pages and they say it is not true. But I am worried because my son is going to school this comming year and I have not got his shots yet. But now I am afraid to. If you know please tell me. Thanks for your help.
I would like to take a test to see if my child has Autism. Not just a warning sign bullet page. I know it is out there somewhere.
My baby boy lost his speech and lines things up, rocks and bangs head and stares at wheels on cars. He never responds to his name. We are starting Early Intervention therapy. Just wanted opinions on what you think causes autism. He did have a bad reaction to the MMR vaccine. I am considering not having any more vaccines for him. He is do again in September for vaccines and I might refuse them.
I was just asking because both of my children have autism . My son is mild but you can still tell he is autisic . My little girl is only 18 months and i can tell she may have autism. I seen on TV that alot of people grow up with autism and are just finding out what it is.. So was just wondering ,how one can grow up and not notice something different about him / her
Career fields/majors in helping children/adults with autism, adhd, tourettes etc. Not teaching them. Counseloring maybe.
as mentioned above, my 7 year old son has mild autism and we were told to give him this medicine called ‘concerta’, which is in a tablet form. the problem with it is that i can’t get him to drink this medicine… how do i convince him to take it? any advice?
just wondering about how many are? is is common?
im wondering if there are many cases of autism in childen who didnt have shots?
Also, if the main concern is with the mmr vaccine, why not wait until the child is over the age of 2?( when the brain can handle it better)
I want to do the best for my child but the rising numbers of autism is frightening so now I’m debating weather or not to immunize.

My friend has a 5 yr old son who can say a few words then cuts of into bable. She doesn’t talk “baby talk” to him. When she wants to get his attention he avoids eye contact by rolling his eyes in every direction. When we took him to the fair certain noise would bother him and he would cover his ears. The noise didn’t even have to be high pitched or very loud. When she asked the doctor about his speech, he simply said it was a speech impediment that once he starts school he will get help for it. I’m not sure how to approach her about it either.
